AIRE Features David Conroy in “Meet the Board” Series

Last week, the Association of Industrial Real Estate Brokers (AIRE) featured David Conroy in their Meet the Board series on social media. David is a Principal at Cawley Commercial Real Estate and serves on the 2020 AIRE Board of Directors. We copied his Q & A below, but you can check out AIRE’s full profile on David here.

What should AIRE members be aware of in 2020?

“We’ve got a great set of programs on deck for 2020 and it should be a lot of great content to help brokers grow their business and/or learn a little about some topics that may be less familiar to them.”

Fun Fact:

“I’ve got a giant sweet tooth and often order cookies from my favorite place since they don’t have a Chicago location – Mary’s Mountain Cookies.”

What or who inspired you to become an AIRE member?

“My mentor, Tim Gallagher, suggested I join AIRE because it was a great way to access information about who is running with certain tenants in the market and also to meet the brokers specifically transacting in the industrial marketplace.”

What are your hopes and aspirations for AIRE and its members?

“I want to see AIRE continue to grow and introduce young blood to the industry and everything industrial real estate in the Chicago market has to offer. I also want to see AIRE grow as a resource for the more established brokers as well so we can provide some of the best information and resources to help grow the IQ of every broker and owner in the market.”

What motivates you to be successful in business and in life?

“I want to help all of my clients find the ideal situation that exists for them in the market and make sure they’ve evaluated everything on the table including labor, location and incentives. I also want to work with my other partners at Cawley to continue to grow the company and make it a great place to work.”
