As a Certified Public Accountant and licensed real estate professional, he specializes in financial analysis, asset evaluation, budgeting, risk management, and strategic planning to help ownership maximize asset performance.
His background includes managing diverse asset portfolios, developing financial statements and projections, supporting property acquisitions, managing loan portfolios, and evaluating costs, risks, and opportunities. Before entering commercial real estate, he gained extensive financial markets experience as a market maker in Closed-End Municipal Bond Funds and the S&P 100, where he built a strong foundation in portfolio management, risk mitigation, and financial strategy.
At Cawley, Novak applies this financial perspective to property management, working closely with owners, tenants, lenders, and industry professionals to identify opportunities, improve performance, and create long-term value.
Outside of work, he enjoys fishing at sunset, spending time with family and friends, and making memories with his daughter.
